Parents pay fees by mobile money
Parents see their child's balance and pay by mobile money, straight into the school's own account; the payment and receipt are recorded automatically.
Offline-first attendance
Class teachers mark attendance on a phone with no signal; data syncs when connectivity returns. Critical for rural schools.
Parent app (Android-first)
Light app for parents who prefer push notifications over SMS. SMS will remain the default channel — the app is optional.
Timetable builder
Generate class timetables that respect teacher availability and room constraints.
Inter-school student transfer
When a student moves to another EduTrack school, their academic history transfers with them, with consent.
Bemba and Nyanja UI
Localised interface for teachers and head teachers more comfortable in a Zambian language than English.

Track school library inventory and per-student lending. Comes up repeatedly in private school requests.
Behaviour & merit tracking
Lightweight conduct records. Tricky to design without becoming a surveillance tool — being deliberate.
We update this page each term. Items can move between buckets, get descoped, or get reprioritised based on what schools actually ask for. We will not list a feature here that we have no realistic plan to ship.
